Over the past decade

I have dedicated my scientific research to developing projects on environmental risks caused by human activities and their impact on population.
IInitially, part of my research focused on risk and hazard assessment : landslides, debris flows and sediment transfers that can induce catastrophic events such as the destruction of infrastructures, pollution of territories...

Field work, GIS and Remote sensing

In this purpose, I have monitored various areas for the acquisition of a wide range of environmental data to understand the physical processes and their recent evolution in a contexte of climate changes.

My research interests are in spatial analysis, spatial modeling, geomatics, and remote sensing. These tools and approaches have enabled me to develop integrated approaches for territory management.

From physical geography to Environmental and Human Health

Furthermore, my research has evolved to encompass a comprehensive analysis of the interplay between anthropogenic activities, natural processes and Human Health for the sustainable development of territories.

For example, identify areas of concentration of phytosanitary product, plant protection products in our environment using field observations, remote sensing and GIS spatial analysis tools :

Now

My current research aims to identify links between anthropogenic practices, environmental modifications and Human health, with the ultimate goal of informing public policies on the one hand and promoting more sustainable development on the other hand.

As a geographer, I am interested in environmental issues and collaborate with researchers from various disciplines (geosciences, epidemiology) to find sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges!

For example: Impact of curent and future agricultural practices on newborns and pregnant women
